Our New Learning Space


Year 5 spent a busy day working in the new Library space known as The Hub. Their project is called 'Year 5 by Design' and their brief is to redesign the classrooms of 5C and 5Z to create a larger combined learning space. Lots of collaborating has been taking place and loads of creative ideas have been put forward. 
What would like to see become a part of your new learning space? How will it help you become a more effective learner?

    Hi Year 5
    I had a great day on Tuesday talking about our new classroom and designing a great space. I am looking forward to seeing our new furniture and working together as a big team. I like that we will have the opportunity to work with a big range of people and different zones to work in. It will be great to see the final product next term.

    Hey Year5
    I had a really fun time doing the Year 5 by design.
    It was really fun, we had to make a floor plan for what we want the class to be like.
    Then we had to make some mood boards for the different types of zones we had in our designs.
    For lunch we got to have pizza, I had 9 peices.
    I had a really fun time.
    The thing i want most is a hammock in the corner reserved just for me.

      I had a great time doing the floor plan
      I only had 4 pieces of pizza for lunch
      The thing I mostly want is a quite area and a booth

    Hello year 5,
    I would like to see in our new classroom only some of the wall knocked down and to be bright and colourful, but I am very excited to have a new classroom.

    Hello year 5,
    It was very fun working on the year 5 by design.
    I am looking foward to be getting some hand chairs and a quiet space to work,i am exited about how the room is going to end up.

    I thought the 5C by design was awsome. I had a blast! I think that idea is great and it was fun drawing and researching the furniture. The thing I want most of all is a massage chair that will keep us relaxed and working.

    I'm looking forward to all of the new funiture and new classroom and i can't wait to see how our classroom will look like. I would like to see the colour aqua on the walls and new colourful chairs and I think it will be a fun experience and I am looking foward to all the group work and working together. I would love to see people working in different zones and I think it'll be a fun time.I can't wait to see how it will look like next term.

      I think aqua would look good in our classroom and coulorful chairs would be great.It would also be a good experience I believe that whatever happens to the classroom will be a great change.

    I'm looking forward to seeing the new classroom space I'm looking forward to seeing the new furniture, storage, new learning space and a new code of the classroom.It's going to be very very big in the new classroom I'm looking forward to seeing the new classroom space theres going to be a very very big classroom space to learn in. Three more days to the holidays and in term 3 were going inside the new classroom and happy days to the new classroom space.Thank you I'm looking forward to seeing the new classroom. From TYLAH .
