POETRY!

The Sunset
by Emily Hespe
As the moon is about to be awakened
A sunset says goodnight
Wishing a farewell with its colours
I’m given a sign it’s time to go
The sunset starts to drift behind the mountains
Burning the sea with its brightness
It seems so sudden and beautiful
The moon is here
The sun is not
I know now I must wait for morning

For this beautiful scene again

MY MUM IS LIKE A STAR
By Abby Diomis
My mum is like a star
My mum is like a star
She is the first to help
And guide me
My mum is like a star
Her eyes twinkle brightly
My mum is like star
Who shines brightly as a superstar
My mum is like a star
Who just lights my life
My mum is like a star
An angel sent from heaven

The Ocean
by Alec Willes
The ocean is a water world
Filled with undiscovered things
There are sea creatures big and small
Ones we’ve never seen before
It feels never ending
With salt water pure with salt
it washes onto sandy shores
then reels itself back to sea

MY MUM IS LIKE A STAR
by Emily.m
Mum is like a star
She guides me in life
When I’m in trouble
My mum is like a star
She watches over me
Through good and bad
She is bright
When I need help
My mum is like a star
She shines a path in my life

Sharks
by jye vitagliano
At the bottom of the ocean
Where colourful fish
Play
A malicious animal hunts
FOR PREY
They swim through
The water
Like a spy on a mission
To satisfy their hunger
They get closer to their food
And open their jaws
Slam them shut
and secure diner
FOR
ONE.
